    I look forward to February every year as it holds one of my favorite holidays — Valentine’s Day! While the candy and the flowers are fun, I take this time to tell my friends and family how much I love them.

    When I was brainstorming designs for the February Classic sock, I knew I wanted to pay homage to one of my favorite holidays. I’ve always enjoyed neon signs and thought it could be interesting to mash a neon sign inspired design with Valentine’s Day. I hope you enjoy these socks and go tell someone you love them!

Bold: The Lovebird

    Growing up in central Texas, I’ve always had an affinity for the beautiful influences of Mexican culture, specifically Talavera tile. The intricacy of the designs have always spoken to me as an artist as each piece is uniquely hand painted.

    I did a short design fellowship in college in Mexico City and Talavera pottery & tile can be found all over the place. It made the city come alive with color and art. It made the city feel mesmerizing and perhaps even a little romantic. I thought adding a Talavera inspired pattern to the February sock would be a fun twist on a Valentine’s Day theme!
