Our July 2018 sock, The Pascal, was designed and built by a computer program that we wrote to choose color combinations. Sock Club has 42 yarn colors in stock and this design has 13 colors in it, which means there are about 25 billion different options for this particular design! The Pascal is named after the French mathematician whose work in Combinatorics taught us how to count things, like how many different sock designs are possible.
