The Sock Club headquarters, as well as a large part of our Sock Club subscribers, are located in Texas. As we are writing this letter, most of our team is just regaining power after almost 90 hours without power due to the most recent winter storm. And, true to form, our team and our neighbors are back to work doing the thing that Texans do best - making the hard work look easy. Your March sock design, The Prickly Pear, is inspired by the cactus of the same name that is ubiquitous in Texas. The Prickly Pear thrives in harsh conditions, can be used as food, medicine, and even biofuel, and produces beautiful blooms while doing it. We hope this sock reminds our Sock Club family, especially our fellow Texans, that we can survive in even the toughest conditions, and maybe even come out blooming.
