The Wright - Our August 2022 Classic Style

The Wright is named after American architect Frank Lloyd Wright, who had a massive impact on modern architecture and interior design.

Perhaps lesser well-known are his simplistic yet groovy stained glass pieces, which were used as inspiration for this month’s classic sock design.

As a fan of Wright’s work and his attention to customization, I wanted to pay homage to his legacy through sock art.

Hopefully you’ll be feeling swanky in these suckers and can tell all your friends you’re repping some certified all-American artwork on your feet!

The Story About Our August 2022 Socks:

Hello August! With your warm weather, bright skies and fresh blossoms, we are excited to see what adventures you have in store for us.

August’s socks embody a sense of playfulness, highlighting the joys of summertime and relaxed environment. Inspired by movement and the way we perceive the world, these socks capture our natural curiosity. We hope you put on your socks, move around, and explore what you are drawn to or want to learn more about.

Looking back in July, we launched a new product, our Cotton Quarter Crew (#4901), which produced a TON of positive responses from you all. The Sock Club community has grown tremendously; we love seeing you rock your socks and vote on your favorite designs. We cannot wait to share with you the February socks of the month for 2023 co-designed by a member of our Design team and the winner of our sock design contest!

This month is full of focused energy and innovation. The office has never felt so alive, with fresh faces fully owning their roles, spreading positive energy, excitement and bringing innovative new ideas to the table. With 10 new knitting machines, we are able to produce more custom orders and hope to offer a quicker turn time. PLUS- new developments to our portal are going to allow you to view your custom sock projects in 3D!
